How to record videos that get results with your Puffy

This guide is for creators already accepted into the Casa Puffy program. Here are the practical rules, structure, and tips for recording videos that people will remember. to the fullest extent, have viral potential and help generate sales.

Read it carefully before you start recording. If you have any questions, ask us by email or through the channel we use. usually before uploading the videos.

(and, if possible, that they watch the video again). For that, we use a simple structure: Strong hook, constant intrigue, and a clever ending.

1.1. Hook (second 0–1)

It's the first impression. If we don't stop scrolling at second 0, the video dies.

  • Always start with the bear or the outfit already in the foreground .
  • Example: the bear peeks out from below until it is in your hands in front of the camera.
  • Example: the Puffy appears when you open a box or slide it into the plane.
  • Avoid slow intros, long texts, or background shots without the bear.

1.2. Central + final content

Once we've stopped scrolling, your job is to maintain curiosity the whole time.

  • Focus on one process: dressing the bear step by step, an outfit change, etc.
  • That it always gives the feeling that "there's just a little bit more" to see the final result.
  • The ending can be open (you cut just before the perfect result) or with mini CTA.
  • Conclusion: If people watch it to the end and even watch it again, the video climbs much higher.
Always think: "What reason would someone have to stare at my Puffy for 8-10 seconds?" If there's no clear reason, refine the idea before recording.

2.1. Duration & cuts

Ideal duration: 8–10 seconds . You can go to 6–12 seconds, but try to stay within that range.

  • Changes in position or action every 0.5–2 seconds .
  • Avoid long static shots with nothing changing.
  • Use close-ups of the bear, hands, and details of the outfit.
  • If you're hesitating, accelerate : boredom arrives in tenths of a second.
8–10 s

2.2. Background & Framing

Puffy is the absolute star. Everything else should complement, never distract from.

  • Use simple backgrounds: bed, sofa, clean floor, desk, blanket, etc.
  • Avoid cables, clothes lying around, visual clutter, or overly busy backgrounds.
  • Always try to record with good lighting (natural light if possible).
  • Better vertical format (9:16) occupying almost the entire screen with the bear.
In many cases we want an open ending : that it seems as if the video cuts off. Just before the most satisfying moment. That encourages people to check out the profile and the store.

3.1. Recording

  • Record in the highest quality your mobile allows: ideally 4K at 60 fps .
  • If your mobile phone does not support 4K, use the best available quality, always in portrait mode.
  • Try recording with your phone supported (tripod, stand, stack of books) to avoid shaking.
  • Repeat each action several times (e.g., zip up 4–5 times) to have options when editing.

3.2. Editing & publishing

  • You can edit from your mobile phone (CapCut, InShot, Edits…) or from your computer.
  • Export in the same quality you recorded: ideally 4K 60 fps .
  • The important thing is not the tool, but consistency .
  • Uploading audio directly from TikTok makes it easier to use trending audio.
  • Schedule: The exact time is not critical. Practical: 1 video in the morning (10:00–12:00) and 1 in the afternoon (4:00 PM–8:00 PM). Avoid times like 3:00 AM.
Practical recommendation: reserve blocks of 30–60 minutes to record several pieces at once, and then post them throughout the week.

4.1. “Copied” videos (tested format)

  • Look for videos of teddy bears like Puffy House with many views (300k, 1M, 2M, 20M…).
  • Look for references on @CasaPuffy and similar accounts (for example, re-uploads like @getahug).
  • Re-record the same concept: same takes, same rhythm, but with your Puffy and your outfits.
  • You can make several versions of the same video by only changing the outfit (5–10 versions is perfectly valid).

4.2. Made up videos (your personal touch)

  • POV-style stories with the bear as the protagonist (you don't need to show your face).
  • Mini routines: “I prepare my Puffy for sleep”, “look of the day for my Puffy”, etc.
  • Soft ASMR: caresses, close-ups of the plush toy, sounds of fabric or zipper.
  • Emotional moments: “when you are sad and your Puffy is waiting for you in bed…”.
The ideal mix in the medium term is 50% proven formats that have already worked And 50% are invented ideas . Copied ideas give you stability; invented ones open doors. new opportunities for viral content.

If you don't know where to start, use this basic structure. You can repeat it many times. changing outfits, backgrounds and small details.
